Shahriar Faghani

Shahriar Faghani, MD, is a diagnostic radiology resident at the University of Pennsylvania and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Radiology affiliated with the Radiology Informatics Lab at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Using multi-modal deep learning, he develops computer-aided diagnostic and prognostic tools for neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, and digital pathology, with research interests in uncertainty quantification and generative models to make machine predictions more trustworthy. He is an active contributor to imaging-informatics societies, including SIIM and MONAI, and has published widely on the reproducibility and clinical translation of medical-imaging AI.
